The scrapbook contains many clippings about Bronx (particularly Kingsbridge) history, archaeology, and geology; many articles are by Younkheere or other members of the Kingsbridge Historical Society. Also included are letters to him from archaeologists, historians, historical societies, museums, schools and local institutions about local history and archaeology; many thank him for his walks and lectures. Certificates; tickets to Bronx Historical Society and to Kingsbridge Historical Society events; Kingsbridge Historical Society newsletter, 1962-1963; Younkheere's Report of the Curator, 1963; a typescript essay about the demise of the Putnam Division of New York Railroad; and a pamphlet titled "Kingsbridge Strollers," 1913 are included.
